the upside-down house

When I was a kid I was obsessed with being upside down.

I’d watch TV sitting upside down on the couch (legs slung up over the back of the couch; works well, try it sometime); I’d spend as much time hanging from monkey bars as possible and I would lie in bed imagining what it would be like to walk around the house…upside down (ie walking on the ceiling). It would entertain my kid mind for hours.

So this is why I was so excited to hear about this upside down house in Germany:

This house has just been opened in a German zoo and everything in it is upside down.

Maybe not very functional (could be a little hard to use the loo) but totally awesome none-the-less.

Anyway, I hope I can go there one day to fulfill my childhood dream of walking on the ceiling. Hooray.
